SoNA Singers Perform “Shalom” arranged by Dan Forrest

As part of SoNA's 2020-21 Reimagined Season, three virtual holiday performances are being released over the month of December — starting with Shalom, arranged by Dan Forrest — performed by SoNA Singers, our symphony's auditioned group of local vocalists led by choral conductor Terry Hicks, and featuring the Bentonville High School Chamber Choir. Consider this one of our gifts to you this holiday season!

'Shalom' is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, and wholeness, which perfectly captures our wishes for you and your family. Idiomatically, 'shalom' can mean both goodbye and hello, which also is appropriate to mark the ending of a difficult year and the hope of a new and brighter season ahead. Happy Holidays!
