Akiko Fujimoto, SoNA Music Director

Carlos Simon's Fate Now Conquers, inspired by Beethoven's enduring spirit of resilience, opens this dramatic concert. Van Cliburn medalist Sean Chen dazzles in Prokofiev's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3 before the orchestra culminates the program with Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony — an unforgettable journey from its legendary four-note opening to its triumphant, exhilarating finale.
