For the debut of this series, SoNA's concertmaster, Winona Fifield chose to perform Bach’s Arioso, recounting a profound musical experience she had one clear evening just after performing with SoNA. She was listening to this piece on the radio on her drive home… “The sky was cloudless and full of stars, and this music seemed to reflect the beauty of the stars and universe. I was extremely touched and moved the power that music has to express beauty that one can’t express with words.”
