About the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) is the new name for the North Arkansas Symphony (NASO), which was founded in 1954 and provided more than 50 years of musical performances and educational opportunities. SoNA (a not-for-profit organization) is currently engaged in a new partnership with the Walton Arts Center. Under the musical direction of Paul Haas, SoNA presents classical and pops performances for symphonic music lovers in Northwest Arkansas.

Mission

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas exists to lead our audiences in an exploration of universal truths and beauty, enabling us to connect, stimulate and enrich Arkansas, particularly the Northwest region, through musical performances of uncompromising quality.
