SoNA’s Education Initiatives

“Music enhances the education of our children by helping them to make connections and broadening the depth with which they think and feel. If we are to hope for a society of culturally literate people, music must be a vital part of our children’s education.”

- Yo-Yo Ma

Since its inception, SoNA has brought live music and arts integrated education programs to countless elementary school students throughout Northwest Arkansas. In hopes of fostering the next generation of musicians and audience, we continue to focus on increased access to live music through open rehearsals and discounted and free tickets to concerts, as well as in-school residencies and private lessons.

Behind the Scenes

Parents, teachers and students are invited to take a look “Behind the Scenes” at a SoNA dress rehearsal! Listening Guides are available for every attendee and Maestro Paul Haas leads a post-rehearsal Q&A discussion. CLICK HERE to learn more!
